Singapore Wetland

North of Singapore, on the sea which separates Malaysia from Singapore stands Singapore wetland; an area of mangrove which reminds us that Singapore can be something else than a shiny skyline and roof top bars!

Unfortunately our visit was quite poor in animals comparing to what we could have seen (I let you figure that out by watching the photos carefully) but we did see a mother spider with her babies and because asia remains asia, through the jungle, we spotted a construction yard!

Luanda

I have been blaming my trips to Angola to excuse my delays in posting anything on this blog. It is about time I prove that I'm actually really going to Angola!

Unfortunately, I do not take any good camera when I go offshore so the following photos are iphone photos...
Unfortunately again, I don't spend that much time onshore so the amount of photos is limited...
Unfortunately (3rd), I don't get to do any tourism as I'm not allowed to go anywhere unaccompanied, so the following photos are either taken from the hotel of from the office.

Anyway, enough complaining! The views are of the mosoleum of the 1st president (the communist looking structure), Luanda bay and a few random buildings around the capitale.

As I'm late for this month and very late for last month here are the photos for the past 2 months "This month's photo" in a single post!

Last month was about Greenery and Nature and I liked this photo R took in Miami.

This month theme was "Oh my god", not an easy one... To make it easier for the French speakers, it was translated into "Oh la vache" which I then decided to take quite literally... (By the way, if you don't know, Oh la vache means, Oh the cow! which really means oh my god, simple...)
Anyway, that's another one of R's photo taken on Siquijor island in the philippines.
